Nan started her education in a six room Pennsylvania schoolhouse. She achieved early acceptance to Boston University and graduated Cum Laude. Her passion for film production was sparked. She moved to New York City to begin a career in the entertainment industry.
Nan pursued a position at United Artists, was hired as a publicist and joined the Publicists Guild. She would ultimately turn to production as her creative vehicle of choice. Throughout her career, Nan has learned almost every facet of production by applying her unique skills by asking questions, problem solving, and money management. She believes in "casting" the best crews for each show as well as forging personal relationships with unions and vendors. Additionally, Nan brings complicated script requests to fruition in ways that work both creatively and financially.

An Emmy nomination for FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS which received seventy-two award nominations and ultimately won fourteen.
An International Cine Award for THE MAKING OF TOOTSIE FEATURE LENGTH DOCUMENTARY .
A Christopher Award, Peabody Award, two DGA Awards, and an AFI Award.
She was on the EAST COAST AD/UPM COUNCIL for 16 Years and was nominated to be a delegate to the National Board meeting in Los Angeles several times.
